Howard Vaughan: I have been a naturalist for what seems like all of my fifty years and yes, birding has always been at the forefront but with that has come a desire to know and learn about the wild world around me. Everything catches my eye; be it funky flies, cryptic moths, hunting dragonflies, slippy slugs, fierce looking beetles, rutting deer and of course our amazing flora.
